5 Months

This little boy has me wrapped around his little finger.  He is so fun.  He loves rolling from back to front.  He can roll from back to side but usually he gets stuck this way until someone rescues him.

 You want me to what?
Gee mom why can't I let him suck on my toe??

Okay I'll give him hugs instead

Just to show off my chubby cheeks

Lyssie and Gracie

Just some pictures of life around here with Lyssie and Gracie.

Love love this pic so typical of these two little rascals.  They are awesome friends and a perfect team of mischief makers.
Just wearing my sisters hat, shoes, and back pack all the while just scootin in the house
First day of mommy preschool.  I'm doing a little co-op with four other ladies.

The other day I was sitting and feeding baby when I looked out the window I saw this.  It was one of those moments that tugged at my heart strings.  I want to remember this forever I thought.  I want to capture my little babies playing, laughing, and loving life.  I grabbed my camera!

Halloween 2013

The weather was so nice during Halloween.  You don't have to bundle up in bulky coats.  We went with a super hero theme this year inspired by baby boys Superman costume.

Pictures are before our ward trunk or treat

ahhh....pumpkin carving kind of a love hate relationship for me.

Gracie decided to be a lady bug for the school parade.  She is by her friend and carpool buddy.
Letty wanted to be a cat for school.
Actual Halloween night.  After this we went to trick or treat with Lainy and family and I don't think I have any pictures.  Their neighborhood has more kids and so more fun to trick or treat in.

Lost tooth

Miss Gracie lost her first tooth on the 15th of October.  She of course was very proud.

California

We planned a weekend trip to the Grand Canyon the second week on October  but our lovely government shut down prevented that.  We held out as long as possible thinking it would open back up in time but it didn't so we planned a last minute trip to San Diego.  Tim's aunt kindly offered for us to use a time share right next to Legoland (literally within walking distance).  So we spend one day at Legoland, one day at the Zoo and part of a day at the beach (October was "kids are free" at most San Diego attractions).  It was dreamy.  The pace was great, just went with the flow.  It's been a while since we had a little family vacation like that.

Legoland was great for a younger crowd.  The favorites were driving the cars/boat and the musical instuments.  Lyssie loved playing in duplo playground.   T and I enjoyed the miniatures.
The favorites at the zoo were the polar bear, the elephants (we got there right when they got their lunch so we enjoyed ours at the same time and spent a while observing), and the pandas.
Love, love this beautiful temple.  Could the sky be any bluer?
I love the ocean so fun taking candid shots for a while, while they played and explored.

Summer trip to ID

Lainy did it again!  She did a beautiful job journaling our trip this summer to Idaho so I must link you here.  Thank heavens for sister-in-laws who are on the ball :)
