Thanksgiving and more...

Thanksgiving...where to begin? So much fun! Many, many things to be grateful for. We took a family trip down to Arizona to visit the Lakes (their first Thanksgiving in their new home). It was worth every minute of travel time to be almost all together (minus big brother N). We had a great time. Thanks everyone!

Enjoying one of many delicious meals.

Time to relax, and enjoy some reading.
Grandpa and his girls.

A friendly game of Thanksgiving day football.

Loving the Arizona weather... fun yard games (red rover, fruit basket upset, missionary tag)

Not everyone gets to wear skirts and play in the sand in November.
An awesome trip to the zoo!

They LOVE each other.
Farm girls at heart.

Letty's dentist had a complimentary party at the ice rink. I was surprised Gracie sat with Santa.

First time on ice skates.

One of her FAVORITE things to do.

Our first snow fall came this morning.

Family Pictures

My friend Kelli took these, a big thank you. I love fall!!

We enjoyed an evening of bowling with some fellow MBAers on Monday night. I enjoy bowling with T-man since it is one of the few things I usually beat him at (31 points this game, but I'm not bragging).

Last weekend we joined family to celebrate Grandma W. birthday, so fun. It was followed by a play starring a cousin, she did awesome!

The last couple of weeks have been a little hum drum. School and doing the things that make life run smoothly. Last night we took the kids to play at the mall and followed it by a trip to the Temple at night to see the water fountains. It was a good time.

Letty excitedly went up to the fountain to feel the water and didn't see the crevice on the lower fountain and stuck part of her arm in it. She was a little sad (she saw this pictures and didn't want me to put it in, how is she big enough to care?) I told her sad moments are a part of life to.

A few minutes later she looked like this.

Letty Said....

I will help my family now so that we can all be together again.

She did a great job during our Primary Program today. She only picked her nose a couple of times and only put her hand over her neighbors mouth to quiet her LOUD singing once. We won't mention how often she covered her ears (she actually had TWO loud singers by her). She is still a little wiggly but I can tell she has improved from last year. Way to go Letty!

I rarely think to take a picture when I see something like this. But when time goes by and I take a walk down memory lane I want to remember them in ALL of their glory. I did feel a little guilty about it since she wanted to be picked up NOW but oh well, I got over it.

Enjoying some awesome weather while we can.

Halloween

Making cookies on Isaac's Birthday. We try and do something fun every year and cookie making is usually what Letty picks.Letty enjoyed most of the pumpkin carving by herself. Gracie got put to bed since she was super grumpy. Plus messy pumpkins, sharp objects and her just don't mix.

Mummy pizzas for some festive eating.

Out little bugs this year! I didn't originally plan to have it work out that way but it turned out to be a nice theme.

A girl gang of trick-or-treaters, a few minutes later we were joined by two more girls for a total of 8 girls 5 and under. They had a blast!

After winning our first tournament intramural football game this week. It is so fun to have intramurals again. Our team name is the "MBA Trophy wives." (Tim's editorial note: Sharla has played spectacularily and it has been fun to watch her.)

Happy Birthday Isaac

3... how can it have been three years already? My thoughts this morning are turned to your actual "birth" day, what a joyous time! I wonder now what you would be doing at 3? What you would look like? Would you have curly hair, would it be light? Would you like Letty's favorite noodles or have Gracie's sweet tooth? Would you be really active or have a slower pace? (sigh)... I can't entertain these thoughts too long as it makes me miss you TOO much. We love you Isaac! We think of you often and you are just as much a part of our family as ever. Thank you for giving me strength I didn't know I had and motivating me to try to do my best. We miss you our angel baby, more than I ever thought you could miss someone. We look forward to the day when we will see you again.

Homecoming Weekend!

We have had a lovely weekend full of family time. Friday we decided to take the girls roller skating. It was a bit of a disaster but I think we all had fun anyway. Letty was a bit stressed trying to skate, which was not alleviated even when we upgraded her to a scooter. Not to mention I can't remember the last time I skated...all in all it was good for some laughs.

GO BYU!! Saturday morning we went to the homecoming parade and had a great time seeing the floats, collecting candy and of course cheering for Cosmo.

Gracie kept trying to sneak candy....she has a little sweet tooth.

Letty loved the parade.
Later that afternoon we went to the grand opening of the Museum of Paleontology. It definitely wasn't grand as far as size goes but was fun to walk around a bit (took a whole 10 min. to get through :) It was sort of crazy around the museum since it was right before the football game and was pouring rain outside. They got lots of people stepping inside trying to avoid the rain.

We then enjoy a $.50 cone from Coney's Frozen Custard. Compliments of a coupon we got from the parade. (Lemon Chiffon)

We topped the evening off with a pizza party while we watched the painful BYU vs. TCU game with Aunt J and Mark.

From Here to There...

Come the end of next summer we will find ourselves once again in New York. T has taken his job offer with American Express! We will be entering a rotational program so we will be in New York (most likely living in New Jersey) for about 10 months, England for 8 months, and then either back in NY or another location. Fun, Exciting, a little Stressful! We feel really blessed to have a great job opportunity. Come and see us friends and family. Think about how much you will save on lodgings.

Other happenings...

Last week we enjoyed Friday night football. Our very own BYU won against USU. Letty got to come with us since we got a free ticket for her and Gracie enjoyed spending some time with Aunt J (thank you).

A last minute trip to ID was a great time. It happened to be during potato harvest so it was educational as well.

Aunt J and Letty at the piler. You obviously can't tell here but that conveyor belt was moving very fast, and made it hard for me to be up there very long (too dizzy).a huge Idaho spud!

In the potatoe cellar. It felt good to be out of the cold. Idaho thinks it's winter.

Picture a summer home here, breath taking.

Gracie got to go to a pumpkin patch with the spouses association today. Letty was at school. I felt bad going without Letty until I realized how much I did with her by herself, Gracie deserves some undivided time too.

Some Extra Pics:Girl time during Priesthood Session of Conference.

Caught in the act. So cute!!
