Over spring break we took a little trip to Lancaster county and to Philadelphia. It was a great, low stress vacation. In Lancaster we rode on restored steam train and visited Strausburg train musum which the girls loved. That and the Amish buggy ride were their favorites, they were lucky enough to sit up front and help with the reins. We visited the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery which is the first commercial pretzel factory in America. Down the road from it was the Wilbur Chococlate factory which claim to have had their "Wilbur Bud" stollen from Hershey aka the "Hershey Kiss." I will say the bud was better. We hunted out some covered bridges and enjoyed the beautifully manicured Amish farms. The girls especially loved the pool at the hotel :) On the way home we stopped off in Philly and visited the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.
