A reel of pictures for April

I cannot get on top of blogging lately so in order to alleviate my stress of being behind I am stuck with doing a month at a time.  I thought after school got over life would slow down and it has in some regard but I still find myself tired and busy.  So here is the slew of pictures.

Letty was in her first play at school called "Once Upon A Dream" (a Cinderella story) She really enjoyed it after she got over the disappointment about not having a more leading role.  Those roles come to find out were reserved for the older students. So fun to be in it with cousins.

Lyssie LOVED her Mommy co-op preschool.  These little kids are so cute.

Gracie's first real haircut.  She got about 6 inches cut off, it was really long.

Having some superman fun.  Little guy is 10 months here.

What a lucky dude to have such fun big sisters.

Enjoying being outside.  Gracie may or may not have rammed her sister after this picture was taken.

Dog pile!

April wouldn't be complete without the dying of the eggs.

Backyard/low key Easter egg hunt.  It was perfect.

We took a kite out on a very blustery day.  It kept them entertained for a long time.

We don't often indulge in the ice cream truck (overpriced).  Letty had only gotten one once way back when we lived in Spokane.  The kids had been begging for months buy from the ice cream man as we could hear it in the neighborhood but never see it.  I told them they could get one if it came by our house...poor kids waited for quite a while and nothing.  We could hear it but it didn't come into our section.  So one day we were driving in a neighboring neighborhood and saw the truck.  I zoomed in front of it and flagged it down.  I took pity on them since their efforts were in vain the last time and treated them to some new ice cream treats (bugs bunny, pink panther, and strawberry shortcake).  They were pretty excited.

These two little business women set up shop during the end of our neighborhood garage sale.  They made $30, there were some generous tips.  They may have made more than their parents did on the sale.  They loved it.

Enjoying the fun Phoenix Children's Museum.

They have a fun baby/toddler only room (no shoes allowed which helps it stay a bit cleaner).

 Art time

This random door does not belong in Phoenix.  This is the first one I've seen like it here, a bit secret gardenish.  It reminded me of England.

Going on's in March

some helpers in the kitchen
Letty really wanted to make a special dinner for T and I and use a recipe she learned at activity days.  She did a great job and insisted we eat outside alone.  T helped her with a few things where assistance was needed.  Letty, always a party planner.

Babies first haircut.  Daddy insisted it was too long.
Just having a pretend campfire probably hoping someone would show up with marshmallows, poor girls no such luck :)

He loves to look outside.  He goes crazy if his sisters are out there and he is stuck inside.

9 Months in March

This little guy is such a happy baby.  Gracie took this picture, that is her view from the back seat :)

Lyssie was having a don't fix my hair day.
 Those were bunny ears.

Grand Canyon

We enjoyed a lovely visit from T's sister K-Rae.  While she was here we all decided to visit the Grand Canyon.  My kids just adore their Auntie.

Most of the crew went to watch the sunrise.  Amazing!!

Apparently it was a bit chilly first thing in the morning.

Working on their Jr. Ranger badges.  Kept them busy the whole time.

Walking along the south rim

Heading down bright angel trail.

Great little hikers.  Towards the end Aunt K entertained them with stories of brownie dwelling in the rocks and other explanations for funny looking formations.

It was a fun trip.  Poor baby didn't feel very well and was quite sad in the car on the way home.  Come to find out he had an ear infection that ruptured partly due to the elevation pressure on the way down.  Sad.

Valentine's Day Dance

My girls were so excited for our ward Valentine's Day dance.  It was a great time.

I don't usually do valentine's hair but here was a stab at it.

8 months

Eight months old! Honestly where does the time go?  This little guys is rolling and sitting but doesn't crawl yet, which is just fine by me.  He loves dumping over his toy box.  He likes to be loved on, played with, and tossed in the air.  He adores his sisters. He laughs easily which makes us tickle and blow on him all the more.
