Happy Birthday Isaac
3... how can it have been three years already? My thoughts this morning are turned to your actual "birth" day, what a joyous time! I wonder now what you would be doing at 3? What you would look like? Would you have curly hair, would it be light? Would you like Letty's favorite noodles or have Gracie's sweet tooth? Would you be really active or have a slower pace? (sigh)... I can't entertain these thoughts too long as it makes me miss you TOO much. We love you Isaac! We think of you often and you are just as much a part of our family as ever. Thank you for giving me strength I didn't know I had and motivating me to try to do my best. We miss you our angel baby, more than I ever thought you could miss someone. We look forward to the day when we will see you again.

Homecoming Weekend!
We have had a lovely weekend full of family time. Friday we decided to take the girls roller skating. It was a bit of a disaster but I think we all had fun anyway. Letty was a bit stressed trying to skate, which was not alleviated even when we upgraded her to a scooter. Not to mention I can't remember the last time I skated...all in all it was good for some laughs.
GO BYU!! Saturday morning we went to the homecoming parade and had a great time seeing the floats, collecting candy and of course cheering for Cosmo.

Gracie kept trying to sneak candy....she has a little sweet tooth.
Letty loved the parade.
Later that afternoon we went to the grand opening of the Museum of Paleontology. It definitely wasn't grand as far as size goes but was fun to walk around a bit (took a whole 10 min. to get through :) It was sort of crazy around the museum since it was right before the football game and was pouring rain outside. They got lots of people stepping inside trying to avoid the rain.

We then enjoy a $.50 cone from Coney's Frozen Custard. Compliments of a coupon we got from the parade. (Lemon Chiffon)
We topped the evening off with a pizza party while we watched the painful BYU vs. TCU game with Aunt J and Mark.

From Here to There...
Come the end of next summer we will find ourselves once again in New York. T has taken his job offer with American Express! We will be entering a rotational program so we will be in New York (most likely living in New Jersey) for about 10 months, England for 8 months, and then either back in NY or another location. Fun, Exciting, a little Stressful! We feel really blessed to have a great job opportunity. Come and see us friends and family. Think about how much you will save on lodgings.
Other happenings...
a huge Idaho spud!
In the potatoe cellar. It felt good to be out of the cold. Idaho thinks it's winter.

Picture a summer home here, breath taking.
Other happenings...
Last week we enjoyed Friday night football. Our very own BYU won against USU. Letty got to come with us since we got a free ticket for her and Gracie enjoyed spending some time with Aunt J (thank you).
A last minute trip to ID was a great time. It happened to be during potato harvest so it was educational as well.

Gracie got to go to a pumpkin patch with the spouses association today. Letty was at school. I felt bad going without Letty until I realized how much I did with her by herself, Gracie deserves some undivided time too.
Some Extra Pics:Girl time during Priesthood Session of Conference.
Caught in the act. So cute!!

To the Top!
A couple of weeks ago T's parents were in town so for an activity we hiked up to the Y.

Grandma, Grandpa, J, T with sleepy Gracie and Letty.
T's Parents so nicely took our girls home and we continued up the mountain to the Top! It was a little steep at the end but it was nice to know we can still hike a little bit (although we were exhausted when we got home). We both decided it was pre-Letty since we last went on a hike alone.
Letty's school had their annual fund raiser Fall Festival, which she had been looking forward to for weeks (she is sitting with a friend from her class).
They had lots of cheap fun things to do.

Why couldn't I get my face painted too?
This last Saturday I got to take Letty on a date. It was super fun and we enjoyed a movie at the dollar theater.

The Offer!!
We finally heard back from AMEX and T-man received an offer!! It was much anticipated and we are very proud of him. We don't know any details yet or what we will do with it but it is a nice relief. Good job T!!
We enjoyed a Labor Day hike with some of the Woodbury clan and a family BBQ which was delicious and my first potato salad of the summer (so yummy)!

School has been going well for everyone here. I am not sure what I think of Letty's new "school" attitute but with it has also come more independence, which can be nice at times and not so much so at other times. I am not ready for her to be in school yet but what can you do? Gracie thinks she needs to wear her backpack to the car everyday like sister does, so cute! T is very busy so far and it looks like it will not be slowing down anytime soon, crazy MBA's.

I think I'm big, I think I'm big...
Two weeks ago we enjoyed spending time with T's parents. We went to Park City to look around the outlets and then to Midway to the Swiss Festival. Very fun! complete with braut sandwiches and booths galore.

Hard to believe
Today is the beginning of the school years for us...how am I this old? Letty's first day of Kindergarten is today, sniff sniff. I am not a cryer but must admit I was teary this morning as I walked my little girl into school. I asked her if she wanted me to take her in "No it's okay mom, I'm fine" Well I would have none of that plus we weren't exactly sure which class was hers from that side of the building so we found it together, and off she went. She was so excited!

She and Daddy get to share their first days of school. It is T's first day of his last year.

Cousins
This last week we have had lots of cousin fun! We are so sad Curly and Lou are moving, but we will still manage to get together I'm sure (we have to). We also got to see Kranzie and her kids and Aunt Pika joined us as well. We all got together for $2 day at the Dinosaur museum, it was worth going for $2 but the crowd was insane.
Curly came for a sleep over (they stayed up until 10, yikes).
Gracie here reminded me so much of Letty when she was little. Letty calls that doll Isaac.
