March D.C and Nate visit

I have been meaning to post theses for, oh lets see over a month! We had two great visits in March one from Nate who stayed with us for a week and other from K-Rae for a weekend. At the end of Nate's stay we all headed to D.C. There we went to the Cherry Festival which included flying kites on the National Mall and attending a free kids festival full of craft making and some entertainment. We even managed some cousin and friend time while there. Thanks K for hosting us, you are awesome! Thanks Nate for taking pictures of the "everyday" stuff.

My Mary Poppins Bag

My craft bag is my "Mary Poppins" bag. It is my magic bag that appears to be bottomless. I have one dedicated bag for unfinished craft projects (you know the endless "to do" pile), I'm surprised I haven't pulled out a floor lamp yet. Anyway...over conference weekend I finished this fabric Birthday Banner. Yeah, for one down!

A first grade lesson

(that we older and wiser people take for granted).

At the time buying an orange ice cream at lunch sounded like a good idea. An even better idea was to put it next to her ice pack in her lunch box and save it until after school :) As you can imagine when she opened her lunch box on the way home from school she was a bit surprise to find liquid in a bag. We all had a little laugh, and now we know you can't "save" ice cream.

12 weeks

Lately I seem to be a bit behind by the time I get around to posting pictures of baby A (now 14 weeks). I don't know how to have three kids yet. Letty and Gracie both had pictures taken at about 12 weeks in their blessing dress so I figured I better keep up the tradition, so I took these of her.

Matchy Matchy...

I had fun taking their pictures yesterday, since they were all happy :) Baby girl will be 11 weeks old on Wednesday.

Birthday Girl! We had to celebrate the day after her birthday since on her big day she was recovering from having the flu, no fun.
Ice anyone? We have had a couple of ice storms which have resulted in delayed trains and school closures. When you walked outside it is one giant popsicle. Luckily yesterday the temperature went up and melted off a lot of the ice, now we won't break a leg going up the stairs into our house (we had about an inch and a half of ice covering our entire front walk and stairs).

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

I guess she is hardly a baby anymore but I call all of my girls "baby girl"!

Yay for Gracie, she is 3 today. Unfortunately she has been fighting off illness all week and is not quite her usual self :( So what does three mean to Gracie? It means she is potty trained. She is now a BIG sister. She can play outside with Letty and mom doesn't have to be out there the whole time. She says funny things like calling me a "little fella" and mixing up her v's and b's so she sounds Latin. She also likes to say "you don't have to tell me a hundred, hundred times"...after you've asked her twice. She loves playing with little things like strawberry shortcake, and her miniature sleeping beauty set. She loves yogurt and rice. She is excited to be big like Letty so she can go to school and dance class. She loves to play games and pretend and to water color. And she loves her sisters! Our little Gracie lights up our lives. She is an irresistible bundle of joy. We love you babe, and wish you a wonderful year of being 3!

Another year...

Happy Birthday to T-man! I have been so behind on posting everything but didn't want to leave out a tribute to the MAN in our lives. His girls adore him, all of them :) Where would we be without you T? Our lives are richer and so incredibly blessed because you are in them. We love you!!
